Having established myself as a fan of local search engines, I'll go ahead and mention one I ran for home security systems.
My brother lives near Raleigh, N.C. and has a couple of kids, see. So I searched for "ADT Home Security Raleigh," "Raleigh Home Security" and "ADT Raleigh" in an attempt to find a security system for the lad.
I used both a typical search engine and Kudzu. Guess which yielded the better results? The local search at Kudzu did the trick.
Local search engines just keep improving, it seems.
