As Americans, we love the heck out of cars. Always have and probably always will.
These days, we're hanging on to them a bit longer than usual due to an economy that's been rotten for a few years now. There's a problem with that, however -- older vehicles tend to have mechanical problems.
Taking care of those problems can get expensive, so it's best to approach a car repair with some knowledge. For example, let's say you've got a bad timing belt. Wouldn't it be handy to know what repairing one entails and an estimated cost for your particular vehicle?
If you're in the market for, say, San Francisco auto repair, wouldn't it be handy to research some mechanics in the area? Or, if you're looking to buy that wonderful used Honda Accord, how about doing some research on how well that particular model has held up over the years, common problems, etc.?
You can do all of that research -- and more -- for free by clicking the aforementioned links. Have fun researching.
