My favorite children's educational program

Having three grandchildren who are frequently visiting our home means that we have lots of fun watching children's educational direct star tv. Our satellite network carries a great variety and we have many that we enjoy, but I think my favorite is "Yo, Gabba, Gabba." The characters live inside a gigantic boom box and D.J. Lance carries it around on his shoulders when they're not playing in Gabba-land. Once he takes them out, they come to life and each have their own unique personalities. The show deals with a lot of important issues like not hurting each others' feelings, not littering, and even not biting. Having a two-year old granddaughter who seems to be prone to this biting thing has made that particular episode extremely relevant. The characters and scenery are colorful and the episodes are designed to be short and to the point so as to keep even the younger children's attention. The music is great too with fun tempos and lyrics that are easy to remember. As a matter of fact, they sometimes get stuck in my head. I walked around for days singing "Don't, don't, don't bite your friends!" The show usually airs about mid-morning and repeats around 9 p.m. My grandchildren are always excited to watch!
