Well, things are going very well over at First Arkansas News.

Yes, we've got some great news articles over there, a good number of skilled reporters and more traffic than you can shake a stick at.

Ah, but there's one problem -- all those reporters are working for free right now. Why? Because I couldn't sell ice cubes in hell.

To that end, we need an ad rep over there. Here's the deal -- the ad rep (or reps) that brings in some revenue gets to keep 35 percent of it. Simple as that.

Interested? Click the aforementioned link to look at the site and click here to check out the details about how to sign up and sell, sell, sell.

There's got to be a skilled ad rep out there looking to pick up some extra bucks. Could that person be you? If so, let's talk!

Confused about Web hosting?

Well, I went and started a blog a few months ago -- First Arkansas News. That was a bit of a chore because, I hey, I wanted to go with a great Web host.

That can get confusing. Which Web hosts are reputable? Which ones give the best bang for the buck? Which ones offer great support? Answering those questions is harder than you might think. Want a good site that will step you through the chaos of Web hosting?

Sure you do, and WebHostingFan.com is just that resource.

Give it a test drive, but let me mention a couple of things. First of all, the Web hosting reviews section is invaluable as it has both expert reviews and ones from consumers. Handy. Get lost in all the terminology and jargon? No problem. The Web hosting FAQ will straighten you out soon enough.

It's a great resource and its free. You can't get much better than that, ace.

Customers getting bored?

Yes, there are few things worse than sitting in a waiting room with nothing do.

I've wasted hours -- heck, perhaps weeks or months -- sitting in some office or another while staring at a wall or trying to read through a magazine that was published back when I was in high school. There's nothing worse than just being bored out of my skull while waiting for something to happen.

Do I think well of the businesses that have put me through that? No, I don't. I tend to think very badly of those companies, too. Got a business where customers have to wait for long periods of time with nothing to do? If so, you might want to do something about that.

Ah, and the solution is easy enough -- give them some satellite television to watch. Consider Direct TV for hospitals or Direct TV for lobby. Direct TV is great stuff and your customers will appreciate your thinking about them and adding some satellite TV to your office.

Ah, but Direct TV isn't the only great satellite service out there, is it? There's Dish Network, too, and you can find some business packages through that company by clicking here -- http://www.dishbusiness.com/index.shtml.
