Oh my, this has made me feel even more stupid. For I had no idea that it was that easy to find out how to qualify for those things! Of course, this doesn't go near touching upon what a nightmare it is to actually get on many of those programs without the help from someone in some agency, and even then, the experiences we have had with trying to deal with Social Security (both regular and disability) and Medicare, one must be practically destitute before qualifying for much of anything. On the other hand, maybe there is a site out there that can walk us through the steps that we have been stumbling over!
